LegalTerms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Cuinse — the Stage you build, the Studio you build it in, and everything around it. By creating an account or using cuinse.com, you agree to them. Please read them; they’re written to be as plain as legal terms can be.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Cuinse, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Cuinse.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Cuinse (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). If you’re under 18, you confirm you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the service.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content and ownership
You own everything you put on your Stage — your bio, links, images, and any content you upload. By posting it, you grant Cuinse a limited license to host, display, and transmit it solely to operate and display your Stage, including through the Presence embed feature if you choose to use it. That’s it — we don’t use your content for anything else, and we don’t claim ownership of it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Cuinse to:
- Post illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or visitors
- Upload malware or attempt to compromise the security of Cuinse or its infrastructure
- Send spam through the visitor messaging feature
- Scrape, resell, or misuse other creators’ Stage data
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where practical.
6. Visitor messages
If you enable messaging on your Stage, visitors can send you messages, optionally with a name or contact link attached. You’re responsible for how you use and respond to messages you receive. We may remove message content that violates Section 5 or applicable law.
7. Subscriptions and billing
Tiers
Cuinse offers Free, Pro, Plus, and Premium subscription tiers, plus a separate one-time House membership. Features for each tier are described on our pricing page and may evolve over time.
Billing
Paid subscriptions renew automatically and are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your Studio settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don’t provide partial-period refunds except where required by law.
Price changes and existing subscribers
If we raise prices for a tier, existing subscribers keep their current rate — we don’t raise prices on subscribers already on a plan. Any price change applies only to new subscribers going forward.
Zero commission on your sales
If you use Cuinse’s Shop tools to sell products, we take zero commission on those sales. Payment processing fees charged by Stripe still apply, as they would with any payment processor.
The House
House membership is a one-time payment, application-based, and limited to 500 lifetime seats. It is non-transferable and cannot be resold — if a seat is vacated, it is retired permanently and never re-issued.
Cues
Cues are one-time purchases that unlock limited-availability scene drops. Cues and the content they unlock have no cash value, are non-refundable once redeemed, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your Studio settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical, or immediately in cases of serious or repeated violations.
9. Intellectual property
The Cuinse name, logo, and product design are the property of Cuinse. You may not use them without permission, except as necessary to link to or reference your own Stage. As covered in Section 4, you retain ownership of your own content.
10. Third-party services
Cuinse uses Google Sign-In, Stripe for payments, and other infrastructure providers to operate. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ own terms. If you embed your Stage on a third-party website using Presence, you’re responsible for complying with that website’s own rules and any applicable laws in how you use the embed.
11. Disclaimers
Cuinse is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cuinse is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cuinse harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction — e.g. the State of Delaware, USA], without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Cuinse evolves. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or with a notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use Cuinse after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
